Every car should have one. This magnetic drain plug for your watercooled VW traps any particles of ferrous metal and prevents them from being recirculated in your oil system. M14x1.5 fits all VWs with 4, 5, or 6-cylinders. Not applicable for Schrick aluminum oil pan or 98-99 Passat 1.8T.
